Monday 01-16-17

Another overcast day. Over night we received about 2 inches of new snow.  After picking up our skis which we had tuned up, we went to Copper Mtn. for a trial run. We wanted to make sure our ski passes were ready to use and make sure we bring everything we need to get a good day of skiing in. We were surprised to find very few people on the slopes. This allowed us to take our time coming down the mountain and make sure our legs were OK. It was a good day of skiing. As you move around the resort you see large piles of snow and  2-3 feet of snow on roof tops. All the snow didn't stop the little kids from enjoying the beginners slope.

After skiing, we went to the Dam Brewery for Happy hour and start to exchange slope conditions. I think we will return back to Copper Mtn tomorrow.
