Another Blue Bird day. Not a cloud in the ski. Temp started
around 11 degrees this morning and only went into the mid 20s.. We went to
Copper Mtn for the third day in a row. The non-discounted daily pass is $150
for the day with seniors getting a discount to ONLY $98 a day. That is why you
really have to look for discounts when skiing. Before we went to Copper Mtn, we
stopped at the Post Office to mail a letter. Outside they had a sign saying
they are hiring. But the sign was almost blocked out by the ice and snow so I
was not sure if the job was to deliver mail or clean the ice and snow away. We
skied past the snow boarders park and gave it it a thought. We both agreed we
weren't ready for it yet. I think there were more skiers sitting in chairs
enjoying the sun instead of actual skiing. After about 3 hours of skiing, we
returned home and had a good lunch. Because it is Wednesday, our routine is to
do the laundry and then go to Pug Ryan's for Happy Hour and dinner. Forecast is still for more snow over the
weekend, but another Blue Bird day tomorrow.
