It was a nice morning. Partly cloudy and temps around 30
degrees. It has been a while since the temps were in the single digits. After
breakfast we went to Copper Mtn. There we found a lot of visitors and first
time skiers. You can tell from the way they ski. Everyone in a snow-plow and
trying to come down the wrong trails. They need to stay on the BEGINNERS
trails. As the morning progressed, it became overcast, windy with snow showers.
We tried to stay out of the way of the beginners, but with the snow coming down
and bad light, we called it an early day. In the afternoon, the local forecast
still showed snow developing in the evening and continuing thru Wednesday. But
it also showed, temp rising into the high 40s on Thursday and 50's on Friday.
It has started to become a wild winter with tremendous temp swings. Anyway it
is Dam Brewery Happy Hour day. It is always the same temp inside.
